Monica Pilot is a writer who firmly believes stories have special powers: They can take readers to alternate worlds, pull them into heart-pounding adventures, and they can even help those who are struggling come to terms with their real-life hardships. She might not have magic, but she hopes her words might bring some to those who read them. She writes for a variety of ages, but Trick of the Charm is her debut middle-grade novel. She plans to write many more magical adventures for ages 8 and up!
